One of the worst things that can happen when freeze-drying foods, is forgetting what is what & when it was made. Food waste is never good. With these cute labels, organizing my stash is super quick and easy!
Speckles Egg Co.
Labels are one of the easiest ways to create a stunning organized image. Our chickens are laying close to two dozen eggs a day. I worked up a fun logo/ label set to keep track of all the eggs we get. I wanted to I went for a clean approachable logo that had hidden hearts to show our love and care for our hens. Used a hand-drawn typeface in a soft muted terracotta to give a homemade, trustworthy feel without being overly rustic.
BW Snacks
A package design concept for freeze dried toddler snacks. I create fun tasty puree concoctions and freeze dry them into small bites. These bites melt in your mouth and are a great snack to introduce lots of different foods and flavors to toddlers. As a designer, I had to create a set of labels to showcase the homemade snacks I make.
Mel’s Cornerstore Signage
This Cleburne Boutique installation was a blast to design, produce, & install. Our goal was to create eye catching window signage that would catch patron’s attention from the street. This new store is nestled in the heart of the historic district in Cleburne, TX. It features dozens of local creators and makers.

Mel’s Cornerstore Signage Part 2
Inside the boutique, I collaborated with the founders to create a large laser cut foam quote installation. While the design is simple, installing was a fun challenge. We utilized a custom set of spacers to maintain proper kerning and alignment.
